What the service is
OnRubric predicts how a piece of writing would score against a rubric and explains why. The prediction is produced by software, is shown as a range, and can be wrong. It is not a grade, not an evaluation by your instructor, and not a guarantee of any outcome.
What it is not
It does not write or rewrite your work. Suggested fixes are limited to a single example sentence by design. You remain the author of everything you submit to your course.
Your responsibilities
- Check only your own work, or work you have permission to upload.
- Follow your institution's policy on AI tools. If it prohibits uploading course materials, use a library rubric instead of your course's rubric.
- Do not use the service to evade academic-integrity rules.
Availability and changes
The service is offered as is. We may change limits, pricing, and features; material changes are announced on this page.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, OnRubric is not liable for grades, academic decisions, or losses that follow from relying on a prediction.
